Elina Lingappa

DEI Lead at The Farmlink Project

Elina Lingappa is the current DEI Co-Lead at The Farmlink Project. Prior to this, they worked as a camp counselor at MOSS BAY ROW KAYAK SAIL & PADDLE BD CTR LLC from June 2021 to August 2021. Elina also worked as a student journalist at PEOPLES VANGUARD OF DAVIS INC from March 2021 to August 2021, where they wrote well-researched and time-sensitive articles weekly to combat misinformation and keep the public well informed on legal proceedings, local politics, and criminal justice reform. From August 2021 to February 2022, they worked as a communications intern at CROP Organization, aiding a group founded by formerly incarcerated men to bring awareness and change around the reentry process in the state of California. In their current role, they are overseeing CROP’s communications and public messaging around policy including creating informative and concise social media posts for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms, as well as assisting in organizing and updating CROP’s website, enhancing accessibility and adding informative blog posts and webpages about CROP’s policy work.

Elina Lingappa has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Pomona College and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of San Francisco. Elina is certified in Public Health from Seattle & King County in Washington State.

Their manager is James Kanoff, Co-CEO. They are on a team with Luis Yepiz - Chief Procurement Officer, Andy Levitt - Chief Growth Officer, and Jules Fogarty - Head of Sustainability.
