Markie Belanger

Manager of Program Operations at Thomas Jefferson Foundation

Markie Belanger has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Starting in 2010, they worked at Louisiana Tech University as a Resident Assistant, Graduate Assistant, and Student Worker until 2014. In 2012, they joined Walt Disney World as a Character Attendant and later became a Campus Representative. They continued working at Walt Disney World in a different Character Attendant role from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, Markie worked at VERMILIONVILLE as a Tour Coordinator. Finally, in 2018, they joined the Thomas Jefferson Foundation as an Office Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Manager of Program Operations in April 2022.

Markie Belanger began their education in 2007 at Louisiana Tech University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History in 2011. Markie then pursued further education at the same university and graduated in 2014 with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching.
