In this role, they carried out software and systems engineering for global technology contractor servicing government and military organizations. Kylie also performed system design, requirements gathering, and software development for classified and unclassified projects. Additionally, Kylie supervised software engineers on projects ranging from $100,000 to several million dollars. Furthermore, they supported business development efforts by creating and leading presentations and demonstrations. Kylie has also promoted capabilities and technologies to customers and held a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Some of their notable sales and business support accomplishments include facilitating millions of dollars in business growth by representing company at trade shows to promote Computer Network Defense system that offers enhanced cyber security for organizations. Kylie was also frequently selected as liaison to ‘difficult’ clients, based on their superior communication skills. Additionally, they were chosen to conduct system training for customer end users and maintenance personnel. Kylie has also earned an Excellence Award for their technical performance and superior customer/vendor relationships. Lastly, they have enabled additional contracts with customers by creating well-respected test procedures.

As for their technology accomplishments, Kylie has designed, implemented, and tested software for satellite communication ground system. This includes code reviews as well as integrating subsystems and carrying out debugging. Kylie has also programmed, tested, repaired, and implemented software for Computer Network Defense system. Furthermore, they have improved computer and communications capabilities for customers by providing upgrades. Al was also the President, CDS Division at Advanced Integration Technologies (AIT) from January 2007 to December 2009 where they successfully implemented an ISO compliant documentation system. Al Ghorai has also served as the President at Integrated Flow Systems (IFS) from January 1999 to December 2007 and as an Applications Engineer at Matheson Tri-Gas from January 1996 to December 1999. Al started their career as an Engineer at Industrial Design Corporation from January 1994 to December 1996.

John Voris has over twenty-five years of experience in the technology industry. John is currently an advisor at thredUP, and has previously served on the ecommerce advisory board at [FedEx](/org/fedex), as well as in strategic and leadership roles at [SpaceX](/org/spacex), Shipwire, Netflix, and [Shutterfly](/org/shutterfly). 

John's career began in 1992 as an operations engineering consultant at [Cisco](/org/cisco). John quickly rose through the ranks, becoming director of automation at [Shutterfly](/org/shutterfly) in 1999 and vice president of operations engineering at Netflix in 2007. As vice president, John built and managed teams that developed software and automation solutions to improve service levels and lower costs. John also served as chief systems officer for Qwikster, overseeing the separation of DVD logistics and finance systems from Netflix. 

In 2012, John left Netflix to join [SpaceX](/org/spacex) as VP of manufacturing engineering. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team that manufactured space vehicles and components. After a year at [SpaceX](/org/spacex), John transitioned to thredUP, where they have served as a strategic advisor for the past eight years. In their current role at thredUP, John provides advice and guidance on a variety of topics including product development, business strategy, and organizational design.

Cora Buel is currently the SVP of Finance and Treasury at thredUP. Cora has held this position since August of 2019. Prior to thredUP, they spent five years at SEPHORA as the Vice President of Finance for Sephora Americas. In this role, they were responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, strategy, consolidations & reporting, and treasury for 9 business units/channels. 

Before their time at SEPHORA, Buel worked as the Investment Strategy Group Director for [Macy's](/org/macys) Selling Support Services from October 2000 to August 2014. Prior to [Macy's](/org/macys), they were the Finance & Accounting Supervisor for Marketing at Robinsons-May from September 1999 to October 2000.

Anthony Marino is the current president at thredUP. Prior to this, they were a member of the board of directors at [Virgin Hotels](/org/virgin-hotels) Group from August 2009 to November 2012. Before that, they were managing partner at Virgin Group from September 2006 to August 2009, responsible for creating and operating new North American businesses for Virgin Group. Anthony was promoted from VP to SVP in 2007 and selected in 2008 as one of five Managing Partners reporting to Virgin Group Chairman and CEO in London and Geneva. Marino led the creation of Virgin Money USA (board member), Virgin Cruise and [Virgin Hotels](/org/virgin-hotels). Anthony's sector focus was on retail, travel, e-commerce and mobile payments.

From June 2000 to June 2006, Marino was a Principal at [Venrock](/org/venrock), a top-tier venture capital firm founded by the Rockefeller family. Alon Rotem is currently the Chief Legal Officer at thredUP. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel at [Rocket Lawyer](/org/rocket-lawyer-incorporated) from January 2013 to December 2016. Sean Sobers is the CFO at thredUP. Prior to thredUP, Sean was the Chief Financial Officer at Quantenna Communications from July 2016 to August 2019. At Quantenna, Sean was responsible for leading the successful sale of the company to [ON Semiconductor](/org/on-semiconductor) and successfully taking the company public. Sean has a proven track record of setting and meeting financial goals and guiding companies through periods of rapid growth. Grumm's experience spans across many different areas of software development, from product development and go-to-market strategy to leading teams of engineers and providing 24x7 technical operations. David is well-versed in DevOps culture and practices, and is an advocate for Infrastructure-as-Code, Cloud, Containers, CI/CD, and automation.

John Freidl is the VP of Automated & Industrial Engineering at thredUP. John was previously the VP of Operations / Director of Manufacturing at [Liquidity Nanotech Corporation](/org/liquidity-nanotech-corporation) from January 2011 to December 2016. At [Liquidity](/org/liquidity), they were responsible for engineering design, development, installation, and operation of all manufacturing equipment and production processes. John led the transition of electro-spinning process from a university research lab into volume manufacturing.

Some of John's notable accomplishments include contributing to [Liquidity](/org/liquidity) receiving the 2014 Tech Crunch Award for the most innovative new product and designing and building all test and fabrication equipment that was required to assemble the proprietary filtration cartridge for the consumer water bottle product. Under John's leadership, the company developed lab and pilot production electro-spinning equipment capable of meeting FDA requirements for bacteria removal from water.
