Ned Farmer

Ned Farmer has varied work experience in fields related to intelligence, security, and risk management. Ned is currently serving as the Head of Global Intelligence & Security Programs at Transocean, a role they started in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at American Airlines from 2015 to 2022, where they were the Geopolitical Risk Manager. Before that, they held positions at Shell as a Communications Advisor and Security Analyst from 2011 to 2015. Ned also worked as a Security & Intelligence Analyst at the Inter-American Development Bank from 2009 to 2011 and as a Legislative Fellow at the United States House of Representatives from 2008 to 2009. Ned'searliest work experience was at Morgan Stanley, where they served as a Global Anti-Money Laundering Analyst from 2005 to 2007.

Ned Farmer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at McGill University from 2001 to 2005. Ned then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in International Affairs from American University between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, in 2002 and 2003, they studied Political Science and Spanish Literature at Universidad de Salamanca.
