Rene Sonneveld

Rene Sonneveld is a distinguished executive and leadership performance coach with extensive experience in academia and organizational coaching. Since October 2020, Rene has served as a Distinguished Executive in Residence at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education. Concurrently, Rene serves as an Instructor of Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance at North Carolina State University, Rutgers University–New Brunswick, and American University. Additionally, Rene is the Mental Performance Coach for the Uruguay Rugby Union and operates Rene Sonneveld Coaching, specializing in leadership and performance coaching since 2012. Rene's background includes an honorary role as Consul General for The Kingdom of the Netherlands and previous leadership positions such as Chairman of the Board at CASARONE Agroindustrial and Country Manager at Creand. Rene holds a Master of Laws in Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
