Carine Paumier Hug

Carine Paumier Hug has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles in the transportation and engineering industries. Carine is currently Vice President (VP) Managing Director at Wabtec Corporation, where they oversee P&L and operations for two operating units, managing a team of 450 employees. Carine is responsible for strategy, bids and sales, engineering, sourcing and supply chain, project execution, manufacturing, and maintenance field service activities. Carine also manages North American synergies and integration efforts.

In their previous role at Wabtec Corporation, Carine served as Site Director and Group Project Director, where they led a global project portfolio across seven countries, coordinating train Access systems, the Bus business unit, and platform screen doors. Carine successfully directed a team of project management heads and project managers, playing a crucial role in the integration phase at Montreal.
