Ashley Washington

Ashley Washington has extensive work experience in the field of education and counseling. Ashley currently holds the position of Managing Director of College and Career Readiness at Washington Leadership Academy Public Charter School since 2021. Prior to this, they served as a College and Career Counselor at Friendship Collegiate Public Charter School from 2019 to 2021, where they focused on providing life skills, career counseling, and college planning/placement assistance to students and families. Ashley also achieved the goal of 100% college acceptance and secured over 5 million dollars in scholarships and grants for students.

Before joining Friendship Collegiate Public Charter School, Ashley worked as a College and Career Counselor and External Opportunities Coordinator at Sugar Creek Charter School from 2018 to 2019. Ashley also has experience as a Career and Technical Education Instructor at Rocky River High School from 2015 to 2017, and as a Career and Technical Education Teacher at High Point Central High School from 2013 to 2015. Ashley's earliest experience in education includes working as a Career and Technical Education Teacher at Hillside High School from 2010 to 2012.
