Karen Humes

Karen Humes has extensive experience in human resources, starting with progressive positions at Chrysler Group LLC from 2000 to 2008. Karen then worked as an Office Manager at Consultants in Ophthalmology, where they managed the conversion of two offices to an Electronic Medical Record system. Following that, they served as an HR Business Partner/Employee Relations at ZF Marysville Axle Plant, handling recruitment, employee relations, and labor negotiations. Karen then joined Ford Motor Company as a Senior HR Business Partner/Employee Relations, delivering HR services and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Most recently, they worked at S3 HR Consulting as an HR Consultant, providing support in leadership coaching, talent management, and organizational transformation. Currently, Karen works as the Director of Human Resources at Weldaloy Specialty Forgings, where they oversee all HR activities and manages benefit programs.

Karen Humes holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Central Michigan University. Karen also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Walsh College. In addition to their degrees, Karen has obtained a certification in "How to Have Fewer, Better Meetings" from LinkedIn in August 2023.
