Kris Saether has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career as a Customer Service Assistant at RR Donnelly Financial in 1999. They then worked as a 2. Sensor Officer for the Royal Norwegian Navy from 1994 to 1995. In 2000, they joined Merrill Corporation as a Project Manager, where they eventually became a Domestic Corporate Finance Specialist. At Merrill Corporation, they supervised a team of project managers, coordinated print production and distribution of financial documents, and built relationships with clients.

In 2006, Saether joined Xait, a Norwegian company, as a Sales Director, responsible for sales and marketing. They later became the Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing sales, business development, partners, and product development. They played a significant role in Xait's revenue and signed its first aPaaS partners. In 2010, Saether also worked as a Board Member and Non-Executive Director at Keystone.no, a web-based rental management software company.

Additionally, Saether served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Skolekorpset Sola, a non-profit school band, from 2017 to 2021. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in sales and marketing, and a commitment to building relationships with clients.

Kris Saether has a diverse education history. They first attended the University of Bergen (UiB) in 1992, where they completed the Examen philosophicum course. In 1994, Kris attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) part-time to study Marketing. They then enrolled at the University of Bergen (UiB) again in 1995, this time studying Administration and Organisation Theory and completing the Grunnfag program.

Following their time at UiB, Kris pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Graphic Media Studies from the University of Hertfordshire, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. During this program, they focused on Printing, Publishing, Business, and Project Management.

In 2016, Kris attended the Probana Business School, where they completed a Mini MBA program in Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their formal education, Kris has obtained various certifications. They completed the CF APMP Foundation level certification from APMP in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as RAIN Selling and Strategic Account Management, Practical AI for the Information Professional, Asking Great Sales Questions, Taxonomy and Metadata Specialist, and Enterprise Management Content Practitioner from institutions like Rain Group, AIIM International, and LinkedIn between 2015 and 2021.
