Catherine Farmer

Catherine Farmer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to the present. Catherine started their career as an Education Intern at the Chester Beatty Library, where they designed surveys, conducted interviews, maintained the website, and photographed events. In 2016, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Betabox, completing engineering projects, assisting with the design of a prototyping lab, and working on upgrades and repairs. In 2017, they served as a Powertrain Test Intern at Magna International. Catherine then transitioned to Duke University, where they worked as an Engineering Design Teaching Assistant, providing guidance to project teams and assisting with practical fabrication and analysis techniques. From 2018 to 2023, Catherine worked at Amazon Lab126 as a Product Design Engineer. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer at Zipline starting in 2023.

Catherine Farmer completed their High School education at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, graduating in the year 2018.
