Douglas Bolster

Douglas Bolster, PhD has a strong background in nutrition and research, with over 15 years of experience in various roles. Douglas is currently serving as the Senior Director of Translational & Clinical Research at Brightseed since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked for Danone North America as the Director of Nutrition from May 2016 to May 2021. Before that, Douglas was a Sr. Principal Scientist at PepsiCo from January 2013 to May 2016. Douglas also held positions as a Senior Scientist at Nestlé Health Science from April 2009 to December 2012, and as the Manager of Nutrition Science at Dr Pepper Snapple Group from November 2006 to March 2009. Additionally, Douglas worked as a Senior Research Scientist at NASA/Universities Space Research Association from May 2004 to November 2006.

Douglas Bolster, PhD received their PhD in Exercise Physiology / Nutrition from the University of Connecticut in 2001. Following this, they pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cellular & Molecular Physiology at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine from 2001 to 2004.
