Lucy started their career at Cathay Pacific Airways in 1999, where they held various roles including Flight Crew Relations Manager, Performance and Development Executive, and Learning and Development Executive/Project Manager. During their time at Cathay Pacific Airways, Lucy was involved in corporate lean projects, crisis management, and served as a conduit between senior management, staff, and the Union to enhance communication and work processes.

In 2017, Lucy joined Hong Kong Airlines as Crew Relations Lead and later became the Deputy General Manager, Employees Relations. In these roles, they managed employee relations and led initiatives to promote a positive working environment.
