Rob A.

Rob A. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rob founded and directed Blackthorn Springs Property Group and Circular UX. Rob also worked as a lead service designer at Hippo Digital and held a position as a principal user experience consultant at The Football Association. Additionally, Rob served as a design mentor at adplist.org and as a user experience strategist consultant at Jellyfish. Rob also gained experience as a senior user experience consultant at Red Badger and as a user experience consultant at PA Consulting. Furthermore, Rob worked as a design consultant at Unilever and EPSRC, where they led a team and collaborated with key partners on a project related to consumer goods and big data.

Rob A. attended Loughborough University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a Diploma in Professional Studies (DPS) in Industrial Design. Rob then pursued a Master of Design (MDes) in Design, Strategy, and Leadership at Cranfield University from 2014 to 2015. Rob A. completed their A-levels at Chellaston Academy from 2008 to 2010 and their GCSEs from 2006 to 2008.

Additionally, Rob A. has obtained various certifications, including a UX Certificate from Nielsen Norman Group in 2021 and a Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in 2021. Rob also holds certifications in line management, better business cases foundation, JavaScript and jQuery for Beginners, web design with HTML and CSS, and Professional Scrum Master 1. Rob A. recently completed an online course on Circular Economy Implementation for Smaller Businesses at the University of Exeter Business School in 2022.
