Lovette Curry

Lovette Curry has a diverse range of work experience. Lovette is currently the Chief People, Culture, and Equity Officer at Instruction Partners since 2021. Lovette is also the Founder of their own consulting company, Lovette Curry Consulting, since 2015.

Prior to that, they worked at KIPP Massachusetts from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Operations and Human Resources. At KIPP Massachusetts, they managed school operations, technology, facilities, legal, compliance, and data for a network of 5 schools with over 2000 students and 500 employees. Lovette also developed strategies for school operations, crisis management, and long-term facilities planning.

Lovette also worked at The Broad Center from 2017 to 2019 as a Broad Resident, gaining experience in education leadership. Before that, they were the Executive Director at Nashville Community Education from 2010 to 2015. In this role, they led a team responsible for providing adult education opportunities and implemented successful marketing strategies to increase student registrations.

Additionally, they worked at Partnership for Los Angeles Schools from 2007 to 2010 as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships. Lovette'sresponsibilities included developing public-private partnerships, managing talent recruitment for schools, and engaging the community in educational needs.

Lovette started their career as an Associate at the University of Southern California in 2005 and worked as a Summer Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Tennessee in the same year.

Lovette Curry holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which was earned from The Broad Residency between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, Lovette completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing at Howard University. Additionally, Lovette obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Law from the University of Southern California. Lovette also holds a State of California Law License from the State Bar of California.
