Katja Palmunen

Katja Palmunen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katja started their career at Stora Enso in 1995 as a Summer Analyst, and continued working with the company in the same role in 1996 and 1997. In 1998, they were a Summer Trainee at the University of Kuopio, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. Katja then worked at Kuopio University Hospital as a Graduate Student and Research Scientist from 1999 to 2000. From 2000 to 2010, they worked at Macrocrystal Oy, first as a Research Scientist and later as a Project Manager. In 2011, they joined Roal Oy as a Formulation Scientist, and eventually became the Head of Formulation Technology in 2014.

Katja Palmunen completed their education from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Kuopio. During this time, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology.
