Manuel Morán has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. In 2020, they began working as the Sub-Director of Customer Success at SmartRyde. Prior to this, they worked at Mozio Group from 2018-2020, where they held roles as a Provider Support and Customer Support Agent. In their Provider Support role, they provided support to suppliers and partners, and wrote the first-ever QA guidelines document. In their Customer Support Agent role, they resolved customer concerns and performed full-time recruiting tasks. From 2017-2018, Manuel worked at Blue Studies International as an Admin Angel, where they maintained direct contact with partner education institutions, and managed student visa applications.

Manuel Morán obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Universidad Central de Venezuela between 2015 and 2020. Manuel has also obtained several certifications, including Data Visualization with Advanced Excel from Coursera in April 2020, Critical Thinking from LinkedIn in February 2020, Financial Markets (with Honors) from Coursera in February 2020, Problem Solving with Excel from Coursera in January 2020, Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in January 2020, Customer Analytics from Coursera in September 2018, and Data-driven Decision Making from Coursera in September 2018.
