Xiaolin Shi

Xiaolin Shi is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in applied research and machine learning. Currently serving as the Head of Applied Research at Snap Inc. since August 2016, Xiaolin Shi has established a cross-functional team focused on data science, online experimentation, and machine learning methodologies. Prior roles include Research Scientist and Manager at Yahoo! Inc., Research Scientist at Microsoft, and Applied Researcher at Stanford University. Xiaolin Shi began a career in research with internships at NEC Laboratories America, complemented by a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering from Zhejiang University.
