Principal Scientist at Standigm

Minyoung So has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2000. Minyoung began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Seoul National University, followed by a Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2003. In 2004, they became a Research Scientist at Sungkyunkwan University before moving on to become a Research Scientist at GC Pharma in 2005. Minyoung then worked as a Genetic Researcher at Histogenetics from 2006 to 2010, when they began their role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University. Most recently, they have been a Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist at Standigm since 2017.

Minyoung So received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agricultural Chemistry from Seoul National University between 1996 and 2000. Minyoung then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.S.) in Agricultural Biotechnology from Seoul National University between 2000 and 2002. Finally, they received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University between 2010 and 2016.
