Dave Joachim

Dave Joachim has been working in the food and travel industry since 1992. Dave began as a Copy Editor for Gould Publications, Inc., and then went on to become a Food Editor for Vegetarian Gourmet/Chitra Publications. In 1995, they joined Rodale, Inc. as a Cookbook Editor and became a Professional Member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Dave also began working as a Freelance Food, Wine and Travel Writer in 1992. In 2009, they became the Owner of Chef Salt. In 2017, they were appointed as the Editorial Director of AMAZINGRIBS, INC. and then in 2020, they became the Editorial Director and Content Editor for Wicked Foods. Additionally, Dave Joachim has been the President of Joachim Ltd. since 2002.

Dave Joachim completed their Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Binghamton University in 1992. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy from Muhlenberg College in 1989.
