Nadun Kumara has extensive work experience in various industries and positions. Nadun currently holds the position of Regional Head of Strategy & Program Management - CXP at Daraz since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Swvl as the Associate Director / Global Head of Care Operations, where they led a comprehensive turnaround in care, onboarding, and training functions, resulting in significant improvements in performance metrics and cost optimization. Nadun also served as the Senior Global Operations Manager at Swvl.

Before joining Swvl, Nadun worked at Uber as the Senior Greenlight Manager for South & East India, and Sri Lanka. Nadun led the support operations teams for these regions and successfully launched support modality initiatives. Nadun also played a key role in setting up and scaling Uber's operations in Sri Lanka as the Greenlight Manager.

Nadun's previous experience includes working as a Visiting Faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Senior Visiting Lecturer and Administrator at Business Management School, Head of Operations at Omentra, Assistant Manager at Hayleys Aventura and Hayleys Business Solutions International, and Business Development Strategist at Hayleys Industrial Solutions.

Throughout their career, Nadun has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business development, financial analysis, and team management. Nadun has consistently achieved impressive results and has been recognized for their contributions in improving performance and driving growth in the organizations they have worked for.

Nadun Kumara has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they completed an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a specialization in Business Administration and Management.

In 2014, Nadun became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA, UK) through a program offered by The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Additionally, during the same year, they acquired the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA, USA) designation from AICPA (USA) and CIMA (UK).

Nadun's undergraduate studies took place between 2012 and 2013. Nadun earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business & Management from Northumbria University. During the same time period, they also obtained a Diploma in Organisational Psychology from the Colombo Institute of Research & Psychology.

Lastly, Nadun completed their G.C.E. Advanced Level in Commerce at D.S.Senanayake College in Colombo 07, however, the specific years for this achievement are not provided.

In terms of additional certifications, Nadun obtained the ACMA certification from CIMA in August 2014.
