Petr Ptacek has extensive work experience in software engineering and embedded systems. Petr is currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at MightyFly since September 2021. Prior to this, Petr worked at Wisk from 2019 to 2021, where they held the position of Aircraft Software Architect. In this role, they led the Simulation Team and played a key role in designing and developing the Simulation Framework. Petr also contributed to the design and development of avionics for the 5th gen Cora eVTOL.

Before joining Wisk, Petr worked at Kitty Hawk from April 2019 to December 2019 as a Sr. Software Engineer. Petr was involved in the design and development of the Certified Ground Control Station (CGCS) for Cora eVTOL taxi.

Additionally, Petr has significant experience at Rockwell Automation, where they held various roles from 1999 to 2019. Petr was a Lead Engineer, Sr. Project Engineer, and Research Scientist, focusing on embedded software and security. Prior to that, they worked as an Application Engineer at UNIS, a.s. in 1999.
