Heather Cantor

Director of Quality at Ready Seafood Company

Heather Cantor has had a varied work experience, starting in 2010 as an Invasive Plant Technician for The Great Basin Institute. Heather then worked as a Forest Vegetation Technician for the University of Wyoming and the US Forest Service. In 2011, they joined Humboldt State University as a Riparian Vegetation Technician. Heather also worked as a Horticulturist for BRUCE OLSON CONSTRUCTION and as a Rangeland Ecologist for Aster Canyon Consulting, INC. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Research Associate for Anheuser-Busch, where they focused on malting barley varieties. From 2018 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Food Safety Net Services, including Technical Manager, Laboratory Manager, and Corporate Quality & Training Manager. Heather'smost recent position, starting in 2020, is as the Director of Quality at Ready Seafood Company, where they oversee all quality and regulatory affairs.

Heather Cantor completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Cal Poly Humboldt in the years 2007 to 2012. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Soil Science and Agronomy, General from Colorado State University, which they achieved from 2016 to 2018.
