Yecheng Lyu

Yecheng Lyu has a strong background in research and engineering. They started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Cobalt Speech & Language in 2016 and later held a similar position at MathWorks in 2018. In 2019, Yecheng gained experience as a Research Scientist Intern at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories. Moving forward, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Volvo Cars from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Yecheng serves as a Research Scientist at Black Sesame Technologies Inc.

Yecheng Lyu has an extensive education history in the field of electrical and computer engineering. Starting in 2008, Yecheng obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wuhan University. From 2013 to 2015, Yecheng pursued further education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Finally, from 2015 to 2021, Yecheng completed a Doctor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, also at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

In addition to their formal education, Yecheng has obtained multiple certifications to advance their skills in various areas. These certifications were obtained in 2023 and include topics such as deep learning, neural networks, natural language processing, software development, and emotional intelligence. Some of the institutions from which Yecheng obtained these certifications are LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Google.
