When looking for a job these days, it’s not difficult to find positions that are entirely remote. With the pandemic accelerating the shift to remote work, many employers have embraced technology so that their employees can lead more flexible work schedules from anywhere around the world.

Upwork’s Future Workforce Pulse Report estimated that by 2025, 22% of the American workforce (roughly 36.2 million people) will be working fully remote and as of December 2020, almost 60% of teams were at least partially remote.

As a result, we’ve also begun to see more organizations hiring heads of remote work, or similar titles, that will become the pillar of shaping team culture and workflows at a company.
